GET READY Peabody, Watkins and Stuart-Hobson Families, Staff and  Administration for the start of the 2021 Cluster Cup Scavenger Hunt! The Cluster PTA is thrilled to host our annual FREE family event to build  school spirit and strengthen the Cluster community! We have over 100 missions that your family can do from home, on Capitol  Hill, and around Washington, DC.

WHO: The Cluster Cup is open to all current Cluster families, staff and  administration. 

WHEN: The hunt starts at 4:00pm ET on Friday, September 17 and ends at 12:00pm ET on Sunday, September 19

WHAT TO DO: Download the GooseChase app to your Android or iPhone from wherever you get your apps. Only ONE PHONE per family.

Find our game in the app by searching “2021 Cluster Cup Scavenger Hunt.” Create a player name and profile. Be creative!  

Once in the game, you will receive the list of missions. To complete a mission,  select it from the list and follow the instructions to receive the allotted points.  Most of the time, you will be asked to submit a photo or video, while other  times you will answer a question. Select “Snap Evidence” to complete the  mission!

EASY missions = 400 points 

MEDIUM missions = 600 points 

HARD missions = 1,000 points 

​

The game will go LIVE at 4:00pm ET on Friday with the first “wave” of  missions! More will come Saturday morning, and again Sunday morning - three “waves” of missions over the course of the  weekend. 

 

NO computer screenshots or submissions of stock photos are allowed. For our competitive families (and you know who you are), you can see rankings in real time and know exactly how you’re doing. Leaderboard rankings are automatically updated.

1st Place: $100 Gift Card of your choice! 

2nd-10th Place: $25 Choice of Gift Card from East City Books, Solid State Books, Mahogany Books, Busboys & Poets OR  Labyrinth Games & Puzzles

Please note that we are planning on using Cluster Cup photos on social media over the course of the weekend (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). If you  prefer photos of your family/child not be used, choose missions that do not  require their images. Thank you!

Finally, on SATURDAY September 18,  please be aware that there are several events happening near Capitol Hill that might limit your travel. There are NO missions along the National Mall, near the Capitol or H Street NE.
