What documents do I need to submit to complete enrollment?
All families will need to complete and submit an enrollment form and proof of residency. Please note the enrollment form for the upcoming school year will not be available until March 31, 2023.
NEW to any DCPS school, you will also need to provide one of the following documents to prove your child’s age:

birth certificate;

hospital records;

Passport; or
-
baptismal certificate

How many schools can I apply to in the My School DC lottery?
For each student, you may apply to as few as one, or as many as 12 schools. The more choices you list, the better the chance of getting a match to a school. However, you should only apply to schools you want your child to attend.
What are the age cutoffs and birthdays for prospective Peabody students?
Age cutoff is the age a student needs to be in order to enroll in a specific grade by the school year to which they are applying. For school year 2023-24, applicants for:

PK3 must be 3 years old by September 30, 2023;

PK4 must be 4 years old by September 30, 2023; and
-
Kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 30, 2023.
If your child does not make the age cutoff you will not be able to enroll them in that grade.
What are the age cutoffs and birthdays for prospective Watkins students?
Age cutoff is the age a student needs to be in order to enroll in a specific grade by the school year to which they are applying. Age cutoffs vary by grade.
